I'm not sure what i'm missing here..

I ran this command on the DC PDC to configure it to get the time from an
    outside source:

    w32tm /config /syncfromflags:manual /manualpeerlist:"time.windows.com
    tock.usno.navy.mil time.nist.gov"
    net time /setsntp:"time.windows.com tock.usno.navy.mil time.nist.gov"

    w32tm /config /update
    net stop w32time
    net start w32time

This was on the 2008 DC/PDC called VSDCA.

On several member servers the time is out of sync, causing issues..

If i do a net time on both..

I either get VSDCA or VSDCB listed as the time server (both are DC's)..

The time is still out of sync though.

Any thoughts on what to do to correct this?

  2. Hello markm75g,

Make sure that no firewall is blocking UDP NTP port 123.

Check out this command on the PDCEmulator:
    w32tm /config /manualpeerlist:peers /syncfromflags:manual /reliable:yes /update

And this on the domain members:
    w32tm /config /syncfromflags:domhier /update

    After that run:
    net stop w32time
    net start w32time

    Best regards
