    Hi

I have this error in the DNS event log.

Event ID 7063: The DNS server is configured to forward to a non-recursive
    DNS server at 24.25.227.64.

In the Forwarders tab, the "Do not user recursion for this domain" option is
    unchecked.

In the Advanced tab (under Server options), the "Disable recursion" option
    is unchecked.

Where can the problem be ? Is it somewhere in DNS settings ? Or somewhere
    at the firewalls ?

    Internet (24.25.227.64)

    |

    |

Firewall 1 (the edge of our network)

    | (DNS setting in Firewall 1 points to 24.25.227.64)

    |

    Firewall 2 (sub network)

    | (DNS setting in Firewall 2 points to IP of WinSrv 2003)

    |

    WinSrv 2003 (where error occurred)

(DNS setting in server forwarded to 24.25.227.64)

    Thank you

    Steve

I guess 24.25.227.64 has recursion disabled, I get query refused when I
    check it.
    Try 4.2.2.2 as a forwarder.
