_asm...?

  1. So...what's the equivalent to inline assembler for a C++ program I'm trying
to compile natively to x64 with VS2005 Beta 2?

    it states:
    * _asm is not supported for x64-based compilers. All assembly code
must be written in a separate file, or intrinsic functions must be used.

so basically, instead of using an _asm { } block, you must move it to a
separate .asm file and assmble using ml64.exe
