Access Based Enumeration and DFS

I am attempting to setup a large DFS structure with tens of thousands of
shares. Needless to say I do not want to have to make my users sort though
them all, nor is there an easy way to group them in a logical manner. So I
am attempting to use Access Based Enumeration (ABE). The problem is however
it does not appear to work in domain based DFS structures. Specifically in
my planned implimentation because of the large amount of required links I am
using a mixture of standalone and domain based DFS so the structure is
\\domainnamespace\domainroot\standaloneRoot\Link. When I enable access based
enumeration it works great at the share level and the stand alone dfs level.
However, when I try to make it work on the domain DFS level it continues to
show all folders even those that the user account does not have rights too.
Has anyone else battled this issue?
