    Hi evrybody,
I have a problem with the configuration of SBS standard.
So i have a SBS serveur with WSS 2.0 (Sharepoint services for the novice).
I cen ccess at this web site in my office with the http adress
    http://companyweb
But when i go at home, i can access to Outlook with OWA services, access to
my folders and directory with VPN connection (vpn connection create and
cnfigure with SBS, not a firewall or any VPN connection create with a router).
But i can't acces to the COMPANYWEB site !
My firewall accept all traffic outbound and inbound and redirect to the ip
    adress of the SBS Server.

Somethink have an idea please ???

Did you try to access your server via RWW? Does that work?

What happens if you try to access it with ip address instead of name:
    like http://192.168.x.x?
    Does it work this way?

  4. Hello Customer,

    Thank you for posting here.

From your post, I understand that when connecting to the server by using
    VPN, companyweb cannot be accessed.

Firstly, I would like to confirm how did you create the VPN connection on
the client? Downloading the SBS connection manager or create the VPN
    connection manually?

I suggest you use the SBS connection manager to have a try:

    1. Visit RWW from the client.
    2. Click Download Connection Manager link on RWW page.
    3. Install Connection Manager

    Please check if it works.

I hope the above information is helpful to you. If the problem still
occurs, please help me gather following information:

    1. If you ping companyweb, what is the result?
    2. If you try visiting following address, what is the result?

    https://ServerIPAddress:444
    https://ServerName:444
    http://ServerName
    http://ServerName/remote
    http://ServerName/owa

    3. Please download the MPS Report tool from the following link and run it
on both the client and the SBS server, then send the generated CAB file to
my mailbox for further investigation so that we can
find what the root cause is:

    15706/MPSRPT_NETWORK.EXE

Please try the above steps at your earliest convenience. If you have any
concern, please feel free to let me know.
