I am wondering what type of access a Apple/MacOS based laptop would have to a
    Windows Server 2003 AD domain?

I know they would want to at least access shared files and printers. Any
tips or summarization of what can be accessed?

    TIA!

  2. On Mac OS make sure Finder is the selected app, then goto "Go" ->
"connect to server" then put this in the server address

    smb://<servername>/share

note: <ServerName> should be full FQDN "example: server.domain.local"

Printers are easy to, if you go into System Preferences -> Printers
Just add a print via IP address (its too much typing to go through the
whole thing but its east trust me)
