Access to scripts(startup/shutdown) under computers

I have 2003 admin tools loaded and I use this for creating login scripts by
applying a script to a OU using group policy but for some reason I can now no
longer see windows settings /scripts/(startup/shutdown) under user
configuration. I can see this for computer configuration but not the users. I
have previously had access to this and MS technet concierge were as helpful
    as ever.

    Any ideas?

    Hi,

This is correct. Startup/Shutdown Scripts are for Computers (in Computer
config). Logon/Logoff Scripts are for users (in Users config). This is the
    way it has always been.

Many thanks for replying but that was my issue - Logon/Logoff Scripts for
users (in Users config) is NOT there wheras it has been previously. How can I
    get this back?

    Hi,

What you originally posted is that you didn't see the Startup Scripts in the
User Config. I said that you weren't suppose to. However, you should see the
Logon scripts. As it is not a ADM problem, it will be difficult to
troubleshoot manually. Is this the only computer you can't see them from? Can
you access them from another DC or a computer running adminpak.msi?

Do you have any errors in your event logs?

    Cheers,

    Lara
