    Hi,
Is there a way to change the IP address that the GUID DNS name resolves to?
Basically when the DC was created, it had the "register this connection's
address in DNS" check on the wrong NIC's settings. I have corrected that
issue since but when I run dcdiag it tells me that the GUID DNS name
resolves to the wrong address. How would I go about fixing this?

    Thank you!

    Fritz,

Sounds like you need to update the SRV records and inorder to make sure you
get them all updated correctly you can do the following.

You could try the following, but proceed with caution as results could
    always very.

    Stop DNS
    delete the _msdcs from DNS

navigate to C:\windows\system32\config and rename the following files:

    netlogon.dnd
    netlogon.dns

Start cmd prompt and run ipconfig /flushdns (leave open)

    Start DNS

    run ipconfig /registerdns

This will cause DNS to recreate the _msdcs zone and populate with the new DC
SRV records. Don't be alarmed if you don't see the zone recreated instantly,
depending on the network it could take a few minutes.

    Hope this helps.
