Active directory Sites and SRV records

    Hi,

    How many SRV records are created for site having one domain controller

    Please provide pointers to the same

  2. It depends on how many domains are in the forest,
    since each domain will have SRV representation for
    the DCs deemed best to service the site, whether the
    domain has DCs or members in the site or not.

  3. It depends on the services the DC offers such as being a GC, etc. Look at the
    SRV records that are published for various DCs and I expect you will work it out.

    Also if you have multiple domains in a forest, depending on how you have your
    DCs configured for covering alternate sites you could have SRV records for every
    domain in the forest in the site.
