    I am writing a Virtual Network device baed on Netvmini. I was asked to add
    registry key based on what I read from other registry key. ie. I read the
    registry key from
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002bE10318}.
    Once I found my device, I will copy the key under
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkCards.
    My questions are:
    1) Is it possible to do so in INF file?
    2) If so, can I put any if/then/else statement in the INF file?
    3) If it is not possible to do so in INF file, any other suggestion?

    Note that I did try to change Characteristics from 0x1(NCF_VIRTUAL) to
    0x4(NCF_PHYSICAL). The GUID and device name were shown under
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkCards;
    however, the virtual device did not start.

    Thanks in advance.
    Billy.
