We have 5 servers, 4 DC's and 1 member server running Exchange 2003. We have
just received 2 servers with Windows 2003 and will use these to replace 2 of
the older servers. Is there any HOW TO's out there or any documentation on
    this process? Thanks

I'm just in a process like that but it involves just 3
servers. I'm reassingning role to an old 2k dc & apps
server to just file and print and decomission two other
old 2k member servers by setting up two new 2k3 servers:
one for apps the other one as infrastructure master. What
I'm doing is this: add the two new 2k3 as members, promote
one of them to dc, demote the old 2k dc to member and
migrate all my apps to the new 2k3 app server. Sounds easy
but in my particular case I have to migrate manually all
my apps and set up new ones that we are planning.
In your case, I think the most important question is if
the Exchanger server is goint to be replaced or not and
    start your plan from there.
    Hope this help.

This info is suplied "as is" and there's absolutely no
warranty or accountability for the person who provides it
    in case of any failure.
