Additional Domain Controller for a SBS 2003 Domain

Discussion in 'Active Directory' started by Wilhelm Tomasi, Jan 29, 2007.

  1. Hi!

I want redundancy for my SBS 2003 AD domain. Can I add a Windows Server 2003
Standard as an Additional Domain Controller?

    Thanks

  3. Yes, this is something that is good. If you lose you dc all cleints lose
the ability to authenticate to your domain.

An additional DC can be added.
What SBS will not let you do is adding trusts to other domains.
