This is a follow up on my previous thread "migration issues" .

For testing the migration related issues I have migrated a group and a user
account from windows 2000 domain (separate forest) to windows 2003 domain
using ADMT2 group migration wizard and user migration wizard.

Now I am ready to migrate a computer which belongs to the migrated user. To
do so, if I understood correctly:

    1) I need to run Security translation wizard to migrate the local profiles
    of the previously migrated user.

    2) I need to run computer migration wizard to migrate the user computer to
    the target domain.

    My question:

which one of this migration wizard I need to run first? I ran security
translation wizard with option "computer to select = the computer belongs to
this user" . I received the error messages: unable to connect to
computername\Admin$ .. machine might be down or its server netlogon service
is not running" Active directory migration tool agent service on
    "computername" did not start.

Apparently I am suppose to see some error on application log which I do not
see on Wstation, Target server, source server. Netlogon service is running
and servers, workstations are running. Migration account is a member of
domain admin group in target domain. Domain admin of target domain as well as
migratoin account of Target domain are added to administrator group on source
domain and log on locally right.

    Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the link. I was able to migrate the computer account used by the
previously migrated user, but I am still having problem migrating user local
profile by using security translation wizard, with the same error message I
mentioned in my earlier post. Can I migrate local user profile during
computer migaration? I believe I have option to select that check box along
with user right etc instead of running the security translation wizard?

Security translation wizard seems to not migrate local user profile, at least
in my test environment. Is there other options?
