ADMTv3 Error when migrating computers.

Discussion in 'Server Migration' started by Frank Smith BAE Systems, Sep 15, 2006.

  1. Greetings.
For about a week now we have been migrating users and computers just fine.
This morning we find we can no longer run the ADMT computer migration wizard
using the source domain admin account as we have been doing all along. The
    error we are getting is

ERR3:7585 The account replicator is unable to continue. Access is denied.

If I add the Target domain admin account to the local administrators group
of the system to be migrated and then use the target domain admin account to
    run ADMT it works fine.

The Source domain admin account that is failing is a member of the target
    domains administrator group.

Using the failing source domain admin account and ADU&C I can create
computer objects in the target domain so it is not a simple permissions issue.

    Please Help!
    Frank

  2. Hi,

----If I add the Target domain admin account to the local administrators
    group

    account to
    ----run ADMT it works fine.

This is the steps we have to do.
