    Hi,
The adprep /forest and /domain uccesfully finished. I
checked log files and it reported so at the end. However,
I have 37 changes (instead of 36) under ADSI - CN-
Operations after the forest preparation and only 50
(instead of 52) changes under Operation folder after the
domain preparation. I got the (supposed) numbers from the
Microsoft Webcast on upgrading to 2003 domain.
Should I be concerned about this?
    Thanks,
    Dusanka

    Hi Dusanka,

    Thank you for posting!

ADPREP /forest and /domain command-line tool is used to prepare the schema
of the forest and domain. It is possible that there might be some slight
change in your current schema, so that the exact number of changes is
    slight different.

After you used the ADPREP command on the schema master, you may use the
following methods to verify that the preparation of the forest was
    successful.

    - Verify that you received no error messages.

    - Run any domain controller diagnostic tools that are available (for
example, Dcdiag). Keep in mind that replication errors are expected when
the domain controller is disconnected from thenetwork.

    - Use Event Viewer to inspect the system log for errors or unexpected
    events.

I hope that the above information is helpful.

    Have a nice day!

    Thanks & Regards,
