    Hello, everyone. I went to tweak my indexing settings, and notice
    something rather odd (and somewhat disturbing)

    Under "Control Panel"-->"Indexing Options"-->"Advanced" button-->"Fil
    Types" tab, there are NO filetypes listed

    (see attached image

    How can I fix this

    Thanks
    Joe

    Sometimes the indexing needs to be re-built. You can goto indexin
    cpanel advanced and rebuild it to see if that helps. gonna take a whil
    so make sure y ou do it when its idle

    Ken,

    Thanks. I've tried restarting the service, checking the permissions on
    the registry entries, and I'm rebuilding the index over night. Not sure
    what it's indexing, though, if none of the file types are visible or
    checked off! :)
