Yesterday I went through a lab of Dell GX260 computers installing the Novell
Netware 4.91 Client over the old Netware 4.90 SP2 client. When the computer
rebooted and I tried to log in, a Windows Security Message popped up saying
that "A domain controller could not be found for the specified domain". We
don't have any Windows domain controllers on our network. It is a Novell
Network with Windows XP SP2 clients. I tried looking up this error and it's
cause, but I have come up with nothing. I'm assuming that in the Novell
Client Properties the DNS protocol must have been one of the selected
protocols, but I don't know where to look in the registry to remove it.
Should I just go to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon to remove the DefaultDomainName and
AltDefaultDomainName Keys? Or is there somewhere else I need to look? Any
help would be appreciated because these computers are in a computer lab in
our Middle School, and they will be used the first week of school.

    Thank you!
