I got MCE2005 to work perfectly with the hacked AIW drivers and the AIW9800.

Has anyone gotten ATI's MMC utility to work (not at the same time as the
    Media center component)

I want to be able to do still capture with the MMC software but i can't
figure out which components from the ATI CD to install.

Has anyone been able to install both, if so how?

    TIA,

    JEff

I certainly wish that could happen but everyone says it will not work.

  3. As a long time (several years) user of ATI's graphics acceleration products
(especially the AIWs), I see no need for MMC when you have Media Center.
    (Seriously!)

Media Center will do *everything* that MMC does (and a few things it won't).

For example, Media Center uses a *single* EPG for all your sources
(especially if you have multiple ATI tuners, such as an AIW and HDTV Wonder,
for example). MMC does not (and likely will never) do that!

Media Center can record *while you're away/asleep* any content you can
program it to do (OTA, cable, satellite, etc., either SD or HD). If you can
view it, you can record it.

While Media Center was planned to run full-screen, it runs just as well in a
window. (In fact, because I use a standard CRT, I *usually* run Media
    Center in a window.)
