Is there any form of newsreader within Vista (or Office 2007)? I cant seem to
find one, and having installed Office 2007, I have lost Outlook Express, so
    too my newsreader, I fear!

And how can I set the default to be "Computer/C Drive" as the start-up for
Windows Explorer. Whenever I open it up it goes straight to Documents Folder.
As I actually store all my documents on a separate D Drive, that's annoying.

I loaded Vista last week, on Thursday, and apart from a problem with it not
recognising my old network card (fixed by buying a new Netgear one), I cant
believe how simple it was to load, and how plain GOOD it is!

Rgds n tks for advice on 2 questions as above.

    ....
There may be some other way, but try using regedit to change the value of:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows|\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell
    Folders\Personal

Windows Mail is the replacement for Outlook Express. It does newsgroups.

Slight correction. It's Windows Mail, not Window Live Mail.
