Alt-Left and Alt-Right leave characters in edit box

    Windows XP Pro
    IBM T43
    IE Beta 3

    1) Start up IE and go to google.com
    2) Go to microsoft.com (type microsoft.com into address edit and hit enter)
    3) Press Alt-Left to return to google.com
    4) When the Alt key is released, a character is entered in the google edit
    box.

    Did not happen with IE6. Seems to be releated to Alt key, does not happen
    with browser forward/back buttons on IBM keyboard.

    FYI does not happen in IE7b2, at least not here anyway.

    And continuing, Alt+Left or Alt+Right adds new different characters.
    MS people where are you ?
