What does [MVP] stand for? Dang if I know. So far none of the answers in here about Failed Updated in Windows UpDate is proving to be practically worthless. Jupitor Jones, whoever he is, MVP?, keeps sending a redirect message so some web site which supposedly is going to fix the problem. Now unless Jupitor Jones is a Microsoft Technical Support person actively working with Microsoft in Seattle, what the heck is that about?

    Ticked off!

  2. MVP = Most Valuable Professional
Read more about the MVP Program here:

MVPs do not work for Microsoft.

The answers given by anyone including MVPs are not guaranteed to work
    in all situations.
Generally they are proven to fix a multitude of issues.
With a wide variety of causes and no two computers identical, it
sometime is not as easy as it seems it should be to solve what seems
    like a simple issue.
