Hi everybody, I've formatted my HD. I've re-installed "windows live mail
desktop" and, always, obtain this message:

Unable to poll for new messages on your HTTP server. There is an error
synchronizing your mail account. Please verify your account has been
configured correctly by first accessing your mail on the web. Server:
    'http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v1.0.0/sync.aspx', Protocol:
HTTPMail, Port: 80, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x8DE00004, Error Number:
    0x8DE00004

I work with my hotmail account through the web and works fine.

Always with Hotmail accounts. If I work with a pop based account the program
    works fine.

    Can You help me?

I'm having the same problem. My live messanger shows unread hotmail messages,
but when I try to get them by clicking on "My email Inbox" from live
messenger or by going to windows live mail desktop, I get the same error
message. It used to work. Having exactly the same problem if I use Outlook
Express.. No problem using IE7 and login to hotmail. No problems with Gmail,
Yahoo and Pop accounts, only with the hotmail account.

Never mind. Downloaded the latest built 1223 and now hotmail emails are
    downloaded fine.
