Any help is much appreciated/ Update screwed my computer

    Okay, so I have Windows 2000 Professional, and I
    downloaded the update from the internet. Now, when I
    start my computer regularly, all I get is a balnk blue
    screen with a cursor. I can start it in safe mode only.
    My computer is a 98, and I beleive what I've done is
    overlad the memory, but I don't know how to fix it when I
    can't even start the computer in normal mode.

    help? anyone?
