Any way of removing the Find message box above the Message list?

This thing is a complete space waster. Can it be removed? Also I'd like to remove the other space waster which is the bar above it
(New, Reply Group, Reply, Forward, Sync, Newsgroups, Headers, Print, Stop). Is this possible as well? Also is there any way of
shortening the name of the newsgroup that is being displayed? Its a horizontal space waster as Microsoft's newsgroups tend to have
longish names. I like to have my columns as narrow as possible. With a little bit of thought one can often had 30% to the visible
    page.

  2. You can't remove the Find box.

You can't remove the Tool bar with New, Reply, etc.

You CAN remove/hide the Menu list (File, edit, etc.). Press Alt-M to
get the option. You can then use Alt-M to bring it up as needed.

As for the newsgroup name, I presume that you are talking about the
folder pane. You can make that as narrow as you like. That does cut
off the newsgroup names but if you hover the mouse over the name, a tool
tip pops up with the full name.

Or you can do as I do and toggle the folder pane off while reading a
newsgroup. You can add a button for that to tool bar.

OK - at least I know that I can't do much of anything to improve this...:) Thanks for the info. I didn't mention the Menu list
because that's already gone of course.
