Approved Pre W2K3SP1 Patches were changed to Detectonly

Hi @All,

We´ve approved a lot of pre SP1 Patches, but in the Moment we don´t have
had approved the sp1 himself. Yestday I looked in the WSUS Console and
round about 60 Patches have the Status "Detect only".

After taking a deeper look it seems to me that all Patches that are
included in SP1 are changed to "Detect only"...


How can this happen, and more important what can I do that this never
happens again, because the reapproving of 60 Patches isn´t realy fun...

Bernd,

Can't help with the mysterious fault, but when approving lots of updates,
remember that you can use the CTRL/SHFT-click mouse ability and approve
multiple updates at once, rather than one at a time.

I know that, thank you. But we´ve three groups and you must check each
patch again (which os which group) so ctrl/shift makes it easier, but
nethertheless not less painfull...
