I'm now running the new beta of WLM on 3 PCs, but as of Friday morning,
synchronisation problems are occuring - new emails are arriving OK. But when
I delete emails they are not being deleted. eg If I delete on one PC. Then
run WLM on the other PC, the deleted emails still reappear

This is with my hotmail account, and Windows Live Mail beta 14 on 3 XP Pro
    SP3 systems

Have you examined the logs to see how the timings of synchronization
on the three machines compare? I would expect some delay between
deleting a message on the client and this taking effect at the
server. Only if a change hasn't taken effect some hours later would
I regard this as a fault. Or do you mean that messages you delete
locally are never deleted at the server?

I'm finding that emails I delete in WLM beta, are reappearing when I look at
WLM beta (same hotmail) account on another machine, even several hours later.
New emails are arriving fine - it's just not tidying up/removing the ones
    I'm deleting.
This is still going on on 28 Sep.

    Anyone else having similar symptoms?

Mike, did you by any chance verify after first noticing if a newly deleted email was visible in the Hotmail UI ?

I've attempted to reproduce this a few times since your post earlier today without success.

Since WLM requires a sync to update Hotmail, there may be a slight delay noticeable but logging on another machine should be

Incidentally as of 20 October - I'm still having this problem. Only logging
onto the hotmail web site and deleting the emails is actually deleting the
