Question(s): What can one do if there is no 3-1/2" floppy disk drive on the
server? Is there a way to successfully complete an ASR without this
particular hardware, and without having to tear open the server and
    installing a drive?

If I recall the F2 ASR process -only- prompts for a disk with the .sifs
located on the FDD device/bus, and no means in which to re-direct, say to
    another volume or device.

Comments: I just read an op'ed article in the local rag, that the "Death of
the Floppy Disk Is Coming" with the advent of mini CD-RWs, USB jump drives,
etc. ... And with mfgs. shipping their servers and desktops w/o FDDs
(CD-R/RW), I wonder if Microsoft is aware of this trend or if there is a KB
    or Q that addresses this.

    TIA
