    Hello,
i've downloaded some asf files from the net and when i tried to watch em
windowsmediaplayer (ver 9.00.00.2980) gave me the message that it needed the
audio codec intentified by tag 75 and to click on web guide to see if it was
possible to download from microsoft site.
Clicking ok on microsoft site i received this message: Windows Media Player
cannot play the file because the required codec cannot be found.
So ca someone tell me where i can get that codec? Cause i remember before
formatting my pc i was able to watch that kind of file but now i can't do it
anymore, and i think i've reinstalled everything i had on pc before
    formatting...

Thanks and sorry for my bad english

That means that your MP3 decoder has been broken by something that you've
done to your system. The easiest way to fix this should be to find the file
l3codeca.acm on your system, rename that file to l3codeca.bak, then go to
WMP's Help:Check for Updates and run that so WMP can replace the
    l3codeca.acm MP3 decoder WMP uses.
