audio error! Help!

    everytime i try to watch a dvd on windows media player it all works perfectly
    apart from there is no sound. an error message comes up saying "audio format
    is not supported by the current application. Please launch %s in MCE." i
    don't know what to do to make it work! i would appreciate any advice in how
    to fix this. thanks :)

    What version of WMP and Windows?

    Does installing AC3Filter - http://ac3filter.net - help?
