Audio Levels when playing back audio or audio/vid

    When playing most sources if I lower the sound level then skip part of the
    song/video the volume level jumps up massively, any ideas please

    You are guaranteed to be running a Creative Audigy-based sound card, since
    what you are describing only happens with sound card. Get the updated
    drivers from the Creative web site. If that does not work for you, talk to
    Creative technical support.
