    Hi all:

I am helping a friend switch from a POP email server to using Exchange. So
we got the DNS records all set up correctly (I think :) ) and so now we need
to change the accounts of all the end users to use the SBS server instead of
the POP server. Is there a way to automate this and have it pushed out to
the end-users or do we need to go through setup with each individual user?

  2. You're going to have to touch each client, if for no other reason than is
you didn't set up SBS to use the POP Connector, and have POP from each
desktop the you'll need to import their .pst files into Exchange.

You can do this in bulk if you move the .pst files into a folder on the
server renaming each to their respective User Account Name and using

I hope when you said you have DNS set up correctly, you meant MX.
DNS is for clients to connect to the internet ( and should point to the
SBServer) which in turn should have your ISPs DNS records in the
    Forwarders ).

MX and A records for our Exchange SMTP email.
