Automatic Update Options greyed out

    Hi All,
    I am really in need of something
    I am having a problem
    When i wanted to configure my Automatic Updates all options in it were
    greyed out now i am not able to use automatic update at all please help me
    out with this issue as soon as possible

    1. Click Start, select Run and type: Services.msc
    Press Enter
    Locate the - "Automatic Update"
    Make sure the service is not disabled and started.
    if Automatic Update Service is missing from the services.msc list.
    Register the file wuaueng.dll:
    Click Start, select Run
    Type: regsvr32 wuaueng.dll
    Press OK.

    2. if that fails:
    Windows Update Greyed Out - Restore (Line 179)

    Hi there

    it didn't helped me out.. with anything...

    still all the option's in the Automatic Update tab are greyed out

    i cannot even click automatic updates nor anything else

    so please tell me some other reply which can help me out to solve this problem

    Hi Varun, I have given you the only suggestions I have.
    You have checked that Automatic Update Services has been started and not
    disabled. You ran or checked out Kelly's tweak and that didn't help either.
    I can't think of anything else to assist you. Perhaps someone else may have
    more suggestions for you.
