My speakers have changed to an echo type sound instead of
    the normal stereo sound.

What can I do to fix that. I have gone to control panel
and sound and audio section. Nothing changed after trying
    several options.

    Thanks

Have you got a microphone on as well, which is picking up the sounds
from the speakers and feeding it back ? Do you get a high pitched
squeal when you turn the speakers volume way up using the dial on the
    front panel ?

    Cheers - Neil.
