AVS driver and power management

    Hi,

the AVS driver model allows to register in
KSDEVICE_DISPATCH:pFNKSDEVICESETPOWER a call back function that informs the
driver about power management changes. My driver uses at the lower edge the
USBD driver interface. I have to start the polling of an interrupt endpoint
if the device is in working state.

If I submit the IRP/URB in the context of
KSDEVICE_DISPATCH:pFNKSDEVICESETPOWER during the switch to power on I get the
    error IRP status: C000000D (STATUS_INVALID_PARAMETER) URB status:0x80000300.
I'm afraid that the callback function is called in the context of the power
dispatch function. It is called at passive level. As long as the power IRP
was not returned from the USB bus driver the bus driver does not accept
    functional requests.

Following the WDM model, I need a callback in the completion function of the
power IRP if power is switched on.

Are there any hints to get a callback in the completion function in the AVS
    model?

OS: Windows XP SP2, EHC, high speed, Intel Chipset P965.

    Thanks
