We have an environment where security is important, but the users constantly
walk away from their computer and do not log off the computer. We have SBS
2003 Premium Edition and are using roaming profiles. I have looked but I
cannot find a setting that would log off a profile if it has been inactive
for a set period of time.

Having the computer lock is bad because that user may have left the building?

    Any suggestions.

    Be careful with that.
If users just walk away from their desktops they probably leave
applications open and transactions half completed.

Logging them off in that state can leave active application locks in
place and loose and/or corrupt Data.

Winexit is a incompetent response to what is essentially an education
    and staff management issue.

  4. Based on your last sentence (... because the user may have left the
building) -- do you have a lot of workstations shared by more than one user
    in your environment?

Kevin, I apoligize for not getting back to you. I didn't get a response. I
do have multiple users on each computer. Different users may sign-on to any
one computer at different times of the day. Dave
