OK, so you now have 10 guys who signed up. Microsoft is selling millions of
copies. Sounds like something Alias cooked up during a drunken rage!

"Since Windows Vista became generally available one year ago, Microsoft's
Client business has grown over 20% on average and sales of Windows Vista
    have surpassed 100 million licenses."

I have software that ran on XP that won't even install on Vista.
    Vista is S L O W !!!!
Vista won't even permit me to install Partition Magic.

There is a conflict with Vista and a well-known piece of software that
ran on XP fine (AOL 9.0) --- fonts rendered two small to read on Vista

The playing cards in the games and their movement are both silly
    and distracting.

And ISP's , I presume, have been persuaded to exclude Usenet Groups
re vista --At east ATT Worldnet does not provide those groups on
their Usenet server. That would keep the noise level down!

No problems here. I have tons of XP software, running well, but some
programs I updated because there were new versions.
Get TweakUAC, to put UAC "to sleep" (quiet mode)
No problems here. (4 gis of RAM)
You should be glad!, PM has a history of fucking up PC's. Get Acronis Disk
AOL? lol => You must be joking!
No opinion, I don't play games on a PC.
Don't blame the OS, get another ISP.

any XP version should run on Vista ---same basic platform!
Many computers can't even tahe 4GB --my new Vista machine can only
    take 2 GB
I've used Partition Magic in numerous machines on numerous versions
of Windows. No once has it "f***ed up" anything. Have one now on
XP and it has been the only way I can get an external (usb) hard drive
    to work!
well there are some of us who can't buy every new version of
everything that comes along and still hold onto some old things --
in my case that includes an AOL account. So???
It may surprise you, but a few prople do. In fact to many new
    machines are designed for "gamers".
I'm suggesting that they have no reason to with hold those few groups
(while providing tens of thousands of others) unless there's some
collaboration with MS --- to keep the noise level down.
Read PC mag about the huge upsurge of protest about Vista. In fact
they suggested in a recent issue that Bill Gates should personally
apologize for the Vista version of Windows.

This should be enough. My laptop with 2 gigs, classic mode runs Vista like a
You ran out of luck. PM 8 is NOT fully compatible with Vista.
Symantec Partition Magic 8.0 (will back up the partitions but not the boot
record/manager - as a workaround, reinstall Vista to C:\ (this recreates the
boot manager), then restore your C: Vista partition from your image)
    AOL sucks!
I have nothing against using a PC for playing games!
If you do, you have to get compatible games.
If your that suspicious get a free AIOE account to have Usenet Groups.
Look here, sir! I tried to offer some assistance, but this sounds to me that
your just another frustrated lintard troll, **** off to COLA then!
comp.os.linux.advocacy, COLA, (it's close with COLON) widely known as "The
    rectum of usenet".

GEEZ! I jsut told you about an article in PC Magazine that agrees
with my opinion that Vista is a dog! I didn't invent the article nor
did I ask for any kind of ssistance. I complained about Vista.
If that's a crime here I plead guilty!

You agreed with PC Magazine, not the other way around!
Nobody gives a flying **** about your "opinion", so **** off then Mr.
Vista rocks! and I'm unanimous about that one!
Your pretty ignorant about Vista, so I passed a few tricks!

    a charme, you incompetent twat!
Even no compatibility mode needed. BWAHAHAHAHAAAH!, fucking old 2006 version

I thought we could disagree wthout being disagreeable --- but---
Anyhow, thanks for the tip on AIOE. IT has ALL the groups.

About their e-mail. Is it also a free service? If so how does one get
an account. I found a logon screen but it requires a user name and password
I couldn't find a starting place to get an account?????
