I need to to setup encrpted folder(s) on a network fileserver. The data in
these folders needs to be accessible to multiple domain users. These users
    don't have roaming profiles.

I understand that Microsoft doesn't recommend EFS for sharing files from a
network share so EFS might not be the way to go though I understand EFS can
be made to work. Besides EFS can anyone recommend a third party app that can
handle encrypted files on a network share? Or is my understanding of EFS
    wrong?

The encryption of shared data is being required by various company's with
which we work. Ideally the solution won't involve a lot of thought/effort by
    my end-users.

Finding a solution to what must be a fairly common scenario (i.e.: shared
data, multi-user data that needs to be encrypted) has been more difficult
than anticipated and info is appreciated.
