This should be simple: If I have a file, in this case an image file to be
used as the desktop background as a corporate standard, what is the best way
of ensuring that it is present on every pc and that those pcs pick up
updates to the file? I can't use a share on the server because that won't
be available to people with laptops when they are out of the office.

    Windows 2003 Server. SP 1.

    Thanks.

  2. Copy the file by using your logon script. Even laptops are
connected to the corporate network some of the time!
