I'm running a Toshiba Tecra M5 with Vista Enterprise and am trying to use the
BitLocker Prep Tool to enable BitLocker on my machine. I log on to my PC
using the local admin account and the tool completes the 1st two steps, but
gives me an access denied error on the last step. I checked and the S drive
is created, but it does not get set as the active drive.....any ideas?

  2. I have been struggling with this issue as well. I'm not entirely sure
what solution I can offer you but it seems some versions of the Tecra M5
are not bitlocker compatible. In particular, we've found two so far
that don't seem to respond to bitlocker:

    PTM51U-05C01P01 & PTM51U-05C01PB

If you have either of those models then that is likely the reason why
this installation is not working properly. If you call Toshiba, maybe
    they can assist you further.

If you have a different model number, I'd be curious to find out what
    it is.
