I hope this is the appropriate place to ask. My uncle has only had Vista
for a short while. I'm not sure of the specs on his computer but it is a
brand new machine. It is a simple enough sounding problem but I have
googled with no luck so I hope someone here can suggest some things to me.
I do not have Vista myself and am helping my Uncle via email so I can't
actually look at what is going on.

His problem is that in Windows Mail when he recieves blinkies or smilies or
other small animations he cannot see them animated. They appear just like
basic pictures when they are in fact animated gifs. Can anyone suggest what
settings he need to change so that he can see the blinkies animated. Or any
other suggestions on what could be causing this problem.

    Thanks in advance

    Deb
