Bug? "ActiveSync encountered a problem on the desktop"

    Hi all,

    I got following error message from ActiveSync 4.1 when I synchronizing PC
    with iMate JasJar.

    ActiveSync encountered a problem on the desktop
    Support code: 85010014

    Does anyone know what is wrong?

    You have an unreleased version of ActiveSync. The current version that is
    provided with Windows Mobile 5.0 devices is ActiveSync 4.0.

    The error you are seeing is actually from the Outlook APIs.

    Try running Help->Detect and Repair and then reboot..

    Then try removing and reinstalling Outlook. This is done in the Control
    Panel -> Add or remove Programs -> Office 2003 and chose to modify the
    installation by adding or removing components. Uncheck Outlook and updated
    it to remove Outlook from my Office 2003. Then click on Office 2003 again
    and re-check the option to install Outlook to add it back to Office 2003.
    You may need your Office 2003 CD. Then reboot.
