Bye bye IE...

  1. I've used IE basically since it was launched and I never felt the need (or
    desire) to change browsers.

    That's up until now.

The fact that I can move/resize toolbars the way *I* want just pisses me
    off!!! ;-/

Why can't I resize the address bar? I have a (big) widescreen monitor and I
don't need and don't like an address bar this big!!! If I want to refresh I
have to move my mouse all over to the other side of the screen... I bet
developers were using cellphones to test the usability of the toolbars...

Same thing with the home page button. Why can't I move it around and place
it where *I* want. MSFT should have learned by now that they shoud not
*impose* what *they* think is better on their users...

I just installed Firefox and that's it for IE. When IE8 comes around *maybe*
    I'll take a look.

that's exactly what I was commenting on with "IE 7 isn't doing it" post.
Resizing/moving the tool bars around to suit my own taste is very important.

MS has missed the mark if they don't know or understand that.

Take a look at some of the various IE shells such as Avant (my fav), Maxthon, GreenBrowser etc.

I think I saw you post a suggestion about Avant several days ago.
I hadn't heard of it so I thought what the heck. Downloaded and tried
it and now it's on both my computers. Thanks!

I agree entirely. Just dl IE 7 this morning and already am frustrated with
not being able to move or resize tool bars to fit my needs, not some
    preconceived MS programer/engineers ideas!
