I have music stored on my local C: and on an attached USB hard drive. My\nlibrary includes music from both sources.\n\nI often play music when the USB drive is NOT attached to the computer (so\nonly the local files are available). In WMP 10, when in shuffle mode, the\nplayer would simply skip over the file it could not find and go to the next\none. WMP 11 actually stops and provides a dialog box with the error...\n"Windows Media Player cannot find the file. If you are trying to play, burn,\nor sync an item that is in your library, the item might point to a file that\nhas been moved, renamed, or deleted." (web help led me to C00D1197) I have\nto hit Stop, then Play to get it going again.\n\nSince half my music is on the USB drive, this has become very annoying.\nDoes anyone know how to make WMP 11 simply skip over songs it can't find\nwithout stopping itself?\n\nThanks.
