C00D119A error message?

    I'm new to the windows environment and using XP. I'm having trouble watching
    some video files. System information tells me all my installed codecs are
    "ok".....I read a reply to this problem (Chris Lanier's) that suggests

    ".......related to either your current video card drivers or the MPEG-2/DVD
    decoder you have installed. Reinstalling both of them will fix the problem
    for you."

    But I don't know how to reinstall anything!!
    Any help appreciated!!
