can I use WMP 10 to convert wav, wma, or mp3 files to midi format?

I would like to convert some of my music files to midi format to use as
ringtones on my phone. My phone only accepts midi files and I don't know what
to do. If I can't use WMP 10, is there another program in XP that will do
    this?

  2. No. Converting to MIDI is a really difficult problem, akin to speech
recognition with a room full of people talking at once. MIDI is
    basically sheet-music in electronic form.

There are a few programs around that are making progress on the problem,
but they generally only work for monophonic sources (e.g. a single
melodic line from one instrument) and still require a lot of hand-holding.
