When I try to download mp3 files from the Internet by right-clicking my mouse
and selecting the "save target as" option, for some reason my computer will
not save the file as an "M3 Format Sound" file and will only allow me to save
it as a "movie clip" type file so that I cannot play the file on my portable
MP3 player. I have downloaded the same file on another computer which is
running XP Home Edition and have had no such problems (the computer that I am
having problems with is running XP Professional).

    Can anyone help?

What file extension are they saved as? You can probably correct this by
resetting the Extension used under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MIME\Database\Content
    Type\audio/mpeg to be ".mp3".
