Can send/receive mail, but dialog box keeps saying Processing

    Exchange with SP1

Kind of a weird thing started today.

I can send and receive mail via the exchange server, but the "Outlook
Send/Recieve Progress" dialog box has muliple tasks for the "Microsoft
Exchange Server ... Processing" and stays open. I can cancel each task, but
next time Outlook or I send and receive it goes through its paces
(sends/receives) but this dialog still is active. I've looked at the event
viewer and nothing is popping up as an obvious cuplrit. Not sure what else I
    can do.

    Thanks!

  2. Hi Hugh

Is this happening for all users? Is mail still flowing normally? What
about network connectivity do file shares open normally? Does Outlook open
normally? What is in the details of the Send/Receive progress?

  3. James,

    Thanks for the response.

Low and behold today its back to normal.

We only have a couple of users and it was effecting both of us. Yes, as I
said we can send and receive email, and this was the message in the details
    of the Send/Recieve dialog box.

I don't know if I hope it to happen again, but if it does I'll try sniffing
    around a bit more.

    Thanks.

    Hugh
