I've successfully installed Sharepoint Services 3.0 beside WSS 2.0 on my
server. I've noticed a number of useful templates on the MSFT site and
downloaded them, but when I attempt to run the installation command:

Via command line, run stsadm -o addsolution -filename

I receive an error message and on further investigation I discover that
there is no addsolution option in my version of STSADM.EXE. Since my server
build is new (today) and my updates are all installed, I don't understand why
this won't work. Is there a workaround?

I'm primarily looking to benefit from the workflow features of WSS 3.0 and
would ideally like to be able to install both the site and administrative
    templates identified here:

    Thank you

Yes the templates can be installed. Sounds like you are running the
    previous version of stsadm.

The version you should look for is in (assuming default installation)
    c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\web server extensions\12\bin
Its version number starts and it will be there following a successful
    install of WSS 3.0.

Check that the old version under ..web server extensions\60\bin is not in
your path because I think you'll find this is the one you've been using.

Thanks - I checked in the noted directory and there's no stsadm.exe file at
all - I updated my WSS through a hotfix that's not publicly available so
    perhaps it's an oddball installation.

Do you know where I might be able to find the most recent version of this
