can`t make mp3 cd med player 9

    i have successfully created a mp3 cd in mp9. the files are
    on the disc, but they will not play in my portable mp3
    player. the files seem to register as one 80 minute cda
    track.

    i have also used other burning software with even less
    success.

    i am using a time laptop the cd i think is a toshiba.

    please help. not much hair left.
