You must be joking, or you didn't pay attention to what I said before.

We don't do things just for fun, perhaps you work that way, I don't.

Sometimes you sound (no offence) that you leave in the dream world, working
without this and that, in my opinion you miss many other scenarios where
some features and configurations are really needed (that's why those
configurations/features exist, developers didn't created them JUST for fun
or because they didn't had anything more to do).

Honestly I don't see the complication, the error is logged because of a
known error, there're several solutions for that. Can it be caused by some
other thing? Of course it can, but the most common is the referenced one.

I understand your point of view, and it's valid, but in my opinion is most
likely that the errors are being caused by other (already referenced)
    situations.

  3. So, Jorge, educate me: why do you set reverse lookups on your network?

Don't understand why you're attempting to (slyly) throw invectives where
    none are required.
I'm also trying to learn here but won't take or agree to responses that
seems to say "do it 'cause I say so". That attitude is unprofessional in my
books. Back what you say up with facts. That's what I've tried to do :)

Again, all I tried to point out to you was that this issue had NOTHING to
make you think of PTR records. Yours was a reflex action to a sit that could
have a variety of causal factors.
Do you think a policy would exist to prevent clients registering PTR records
    if it broke stuff?
Don't see what you are getting upset about.

    Regards,

  4. Maybe you have info that's not been publicly shared.
If that's the case, then maybe. Other than that, the evidence isn't here.

I think we've taken this subject as far as it will go. I think we should
leave it lie at this juncture.
